Psychotherapy is a type of counseling that can be beneficial for those suffering from anxiety. A psychotherapist can assist patients in learning to cope and control their anxiety. Cognitive behavioral therapy is also a type of psychotherapy that assists patients in learning how to change their thought patterns in order to avoid triggering panic attacks and anxiety.
